I was thinking about before Ruby got freed. Ruby gets infected, then Blake gets infected to rescue Weiss, then we just needed Yang getting infected to rescue Blake and the cycle would have been completed.

Negative Weiss telling Negative Blake to snap out of it is a little weird...seeing as we've basically been seeing the same thing being told to Nega Weiss for the entire series by the other members of team RWBY and Jaune....

This would be a better presentation in a movie format like dragon bal sper super hero, a 2 hours movie whould shrug the unnecessary dragging and drama leaving a concise story behind while giving the animators better time to polish their work, the visuals are stunning here but there are many flawed parts that can be seen clearly with no effort

Is it just me? Negative Blake reminded me of Raven Branwen (mother of Yang and brother of Crow Branwen, but not mother of Ruby, as they're half sisters).

That's what I noticed at the cliff-hanger last episode, she looks badass in her new attire and wielding two swords. Looks like a female style of Adam's clothing.

She feels more like she's being possessed by Adam. She smiles and talks a lot like him.

I guess that's the intention, though I can't remember Adam being someone cheerful...
The point of the smiling is IMHO that Blake is still inside and messes with Schnee...

this week is just full of cliffhangers and now school has started... PAIN

So instead of forcing the Nightmare out of Weiss, having Blake be infused with Jaune's Nightmare, not to mention the conflict between the Schnee Family and White Fang...to do all that in a dream, it's not just a love-hate nor a human-Faunus affair, but a do-or-die affair.

Team JNPR wants to help, but it all hinges on Shion Zaiden's decision to put the nail in the coffin, and Professor Ozpin gives the green light on Blake's idea, though at the assurance of keeping the relic safe, and having enough coins to reverse and get them out of the dream to save their real selves if it goes haywire. A dangerous gamble no less, but this is the only way left.

Negative Blake has been summoned, and aided by a past member of the White Fang, she goes all-out against Negative Weiss for a long-standing judgment to avenge the one-sided persecution and vindication of all Faunus and intentionally letting the Nightmare manifest her for power.

It's back to the centre stage for Ruby fighting the Nightmare Grimm, and if her plan of destroying it fails, there's no second chance to save anyone, not even Weiss herself

not too bad I guess, though it funny last episode ends on a cliff-hanger, and then half of the next episode is just explaining how the cliff-hanger happened, this episode still had some very bad CDGI though which made some scenes very awkward too look at (Blake clashing her sword with Weiss' sword (meaning they stand next to each other), and then in the very next frame we're shown Weiss standing all alone and jumping up.).also,

Nega Weiss when winning: How dare you talk out of order?! How dare you move out of order?! How dare you breathe out of order?! Fools!

Nega Weiss when losing: W-wait, can't we just talk about this?

But seriously, why the sudden change in Nega Weiss' character when she was fighting Blake?. I expected her to use Blake's transformation as a way to reaffirm her biases against Faunus, that would've been consistent with what we've seen of this side of Weiss' personality so far. She's spent the entirety of the dream kind of being self-absorbed, and now she suddenly goes "what did I do to deserve this?"

I think they might have forgotten that this is not supposed to be the real Weiss, but the manifestation of her worst parts?.

I have the slight feeling the Nightmare will take hold of Blake too much that she mucks up Ruby from saving Weiss. I hope not her "big moment" and her ruining would be lame especially when most of their ideas so far been nothing but such failure, so maybe a little smart win for the "heroes" would be great please. Yang hasn't been affected yet so she could be the main hero in the end, if it going to be for more Bumblebee moments meh but saving her sister if Ruby get worst again could be cool or maybe we'll get Yang's nightmare that's something to think about I guess.

Funny would be Blake cutting off her arm just like the real Adam but since it is a dream she won't get traumatized for now hehehe.

Wiess more or less already registered Blake as this and that and separated her from the likes of the White Fang especially with their arc in Vol. 1. Then Nega Blake came and manifested as Wiess' most hated faction. Anyone would be confused and put off their balance when a person suddenly shifts.

Yikes, Nightmare Blake is actually pretty terrfiying... Nightmare fuel, I guess you could say.

Nah but seriously, that design is pretty damn badass! Love the smugness she emits too, makes her seem pretty menacing.

Nightmare vs Nightmare

Well that is one heck of a gamble if I ever saw one. So Weiss's nightmare is of an icy hell, Blake's nightmare if of a firey hell. A clash of two powerful nightmares that came from opposing desires. So while Weiss's nightmare manifested as a version of herself, Blake's nightmare manifestation was of Adam as it was his influence that shaped many of her views before she broke away. Because of that, Nightmare Blake is Blake donning Adam's attire mask included and her weapon is a savage blood red demonic version of her gun and sword (don't remember the name) that are two separate weapons held together with a chain. The change is to match Nightmare Blake using a more beast like fighting style compared to her RL fighting style. While not as technological as her RL Gun switch Katana it's good to have both on hand I guess.

Blake embraced her nightmare to match Nightmare Weiss who is visibly frightened at what Blake had become as she is struggling against the Nightmare that is the polar opposite to her's. A struggle of beliefs and biases taken form as Blake's nightmare invasion brings ruin to Weiss's Kingdom.

quality drop was pretty noticeable but i suppose there was a lot going on. for instance, fight scenes with no characters in frame (just sounds), low quality/frame count animations when they are on screen.
considering their start, i guess they blew all of their budget on that xD. it was amazing to be fair. i hope they saved enough frames this episode for the next episode, ill take low quality in some parts if in the ones that matter get tons of time.

Ok... I really like the universe of this anime but WHY did half of it needed to be in Weiss's dream, it's just boring, can't they make them get out, was it like that in the manga? I just feel like they're making it longer on purpose because they're out of inspiration or something... I really think it had potential but this, in my opinion is boring...

There is no manga, Ice Queendom is an original Anime project for RWBY, and the title says it all, from the very beginning it was MEANT to be all about Weiss' dream, it just seems most people didn't get that despite all the previews and teasers.
